ACDB & DCDB Panels

An AC Distribution Box (ACDB) is used in solar power plants and electrical distribution systems to deliver AC power from the inverter to the load or utility grid in a safe and efficient manner. It provides necessary protection against over-voltage, short circuit, and earth faults, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the connected system.
⚙️ Features of ACDB
• Operates at 415V, 3-phase or 230V, single-phase.
• Equipped with AC MCBs/MCCBs, isolators, surge protection devices (SPD), and energy meters.
• Ensures safe disconnection of the solar inverter from the load/grid during faults.
• Built with CRCA steel / FRP enclosures with IP42 / IP54 / IP65 protection. • Designed as per IEC/IS standards for reliable operation.

✅ Application: Installed between the solar inverter and grid/load for power distribution and protection in solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
⚡ DCDB (DC Distribution Box)
A DC Distribution Box (DCDB) is placed between the solar PV modules and the inverter. It collects DC power from multiple strings of solar panels and safely feeds it to the inverter. The DCDB ensures string protection, fault isolation, and surge protection, making it one of the most critical safety devices in any solar PV system.
⚙️ Features of DCDB
• Operates typically at 600V / 1000V / 1500V DC.
• Combines multiple PV strings using DC fuses, isolators, and SPDs.
• Provides over-current and surge protection for the inverter input.
• Available in indoor (IP54) and outdoor (IP65/IP67) enclosures.
• Built with high-quality components as per IEC 61439 / IEC 60364 standards
